Emmanuel College is an independent coeducational Catholic liberal arts school located in Boston, MA. The school was originally founded by the sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in 1919 as the first women's independent religious college in New England.

Emmanuel was founded to provide an educational opportunity for unmarried women and the disabled. In its early years, students included deaf-mute women, deaf or blind men and those with physical disabilities.

The curriculum combines core courses in community service with general education and humanities courses. The Bachelor of Science degree program can be completed in three years.
