Upstate SC Pain Management Associate's office is under federal investigation, DoJ confirm. In October, the SC Pain Associates' Greenville, Spartanburg and Easley offices were raided by federal agents. This past September, the company completed the closing of all of its branches, with the hope of restarting operations, within a couple months. The company was unable to meet with their closing date due to financial and business reasons.
There have been questions as to how the federal investigation will affect Upstate SC Pain management Associates. The investigation is ongoing. No charges have yet been filed, and the FBI is still investigating. It is important to remember that the case is in the initial stages. We are unaware of any charges or arrests, and no evidence of criminal behavior has been uncovered by the FBI, so any accusations regarding criminal activity by company employees, are unsubstantiated at this time.
We are aware that the FBI is currently interviewing company employees, and Pain Management associates. Our first priority is protecting the rights of our employees. We do not discuss the details of this investigation with our clients. However, we are very concerned with any allegations made against our employees and believe that the allegations against Pain Management Associate's is false.
