Counselors also work with couples and individuals who are struggling with relationship problems and other aspects of their lives.

PsyD is also referred to as a Master's Degree in Psychology. This is one of the top graduate levels offered by universities all over the world. To become a Doctorate degree holder in Psychology, you must have passed a rigorous exam, pass this exam in order to become a Doctorate level holder.

To become a Doctorate degree holder in Psychology, you need to earn at least a master's degree in Psychology or obtain a Ph.D. You can also earn your doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology by working towards a doctorate degree or finishing your master's degree and completing the required requirements for a Ph.D.

After completing your dissertation, you should then become a professional counselor in an office of the APA. You may also work towards becoming a full-time psychologist or counselor if your program allows.

You may also pursue a PhD in Professional Certification. You must complete a certain number of hours in a particular area before you can be certified as a professional counselor.
